The Streets of Duna City

Kytheria spun around quickly as she flipped her SMG off her shoulder into firing position when she heard someone shouting behind her. She stared back at the man with eyes like a cornered animal piercing his own.

"Who are you?" She asked with her gun still trained on the strange man who was getting too close for comfort.

WHOA WHOA WHOA, I'm the guy from outside...... lured the guards away.....saw you 2 from down the street thought there might be somthing I could help with and if its sticking it to these fucking Pigs then I want in........ dont shoot

Kytheria cautiously lowered her weapon with her piercing eyes still staring straight into the blue eyed Cascadian. She didnt say anything and just watched for a long moment before she swung the weapon back onto her shoulder and headed on her way toward Dresden. She instinctively looked behind her and watched the men closely when she remembered his questions.

"Breakin' a friend out." she said as she turned back toward him, distrustfully watching his every move.

Well If she's in here and as hot as you and your trigger happy friend, I'm in....... Your crazy buddy up ahead have an escape plan I hope :: catches up with her his 2 bladed pistols unholstered and his jacket moving enough to allow glimpses of his gun katana:: If not if we can make it back to the roof, I can have us a pickup

Just as they came down the hallway outside of the control room, Dresden poked her way out, looking for Kyth. She had her shotgun at the ready and raised it abruptly at Shinji, almost ready to shoot before she stopped to size him up.

"You're not a cop. Who the fuck?" She glanced at Kyth, reading her expression, and then locked her sight back onto Shinji. "Is he with you?"

Kytheria's expression was still feral from her misinterpreted encounter with Shinji as Dresden popped into the hallway they were approaching from. She looked back over her shoulder, still uneasy about his presence, then turned back to Dresden.

"He helped..." she said in a leery tone.

I was the guy outside pulled those cops off of you..... You gotta escape plan

"Nope," Dres answered shortly and without hesitation. Her gun was still trained on the guy, but she lowered it just a few inches. It was the best gesture of welcome that he'd get from her for now. She eyed him suspiciously, then glanced back at Kyth. "Well, I need somebody to crack this damn system before I bust the screen. Go check it out, I'll cover. We need to find the cell block that "Palacio" is in and pop it open."

Can we get back ti the roof? If we can then we got an escape plan :: stands next to the door unholstering his 2 blade pistols and standing guard with dresden. I can have my ship meet us there

Kytheria moved to the computer and leaned over the chair to reach the screen. She opened the coding panel and began quickly typing away, filing the entire screen with lines of coding. The lines at the bottom and rolled quickly to the top of the screen were they disappeared. After a few moments the alarms shut down and the doors leading to the cell blocks unlatched as the cells themselves opened. Kyth straightened and looked back to Kyth as the sound of the air horn releasing the prisoners resonated throughout the prison.

"That good enough?"

By now, the distress signals sent from the prison had reached nearby police and military personnel in Duna City. There would undoubtedly be some form of reinforcements en route to the massacre very, very soon. Sirens were heard off in the distance, steadily getting closer.

Meanwhile, a detachment of guards from within the prison was sent to the control room to try and lock it down. Four armored soldiers came filing down the hallway. They locked their sights on Shinji and Dresden in the hallway; two with assault rifles took cover behind the corners of the hallway and two others with riot shields and high-range stun-guns provided cover. They immediately began to open fire on Dres and Shinji.

The rest of the guards concentrated on the cell block in which the prisoners were released. They began trying to round them up using less-than-lethal methods at first; a few prisoners were tazed and wrestled down to the ground, then handcuffed. However, it wasn't long before the prisoners started to swarm the guards. Batons and stun-guns would soon be traded out in favor of firearms. Jared and anyone else in the cell block would be caught up in a haze of fleeing prisoners, shouting guards, and brutally violent beatings left and right.

Shinji, opened fire on the riot shield guards, aiming at their feet (9since ussualy the shields are held above their feet)) as he fired to keep them back, using his cascadian reflexes to target exposed area's as he looked on the walls for steam pipes or anything to aid them::

A few of Shinji's shots hit the guards' boots and most were deflected by the heavily armored plating, but one got through on a guard to the right and he cried out, "I'm hit! I'm hit!" as blood gushed from the boot. He held his position though, giving the guard behind him cover to learn out and unleash a volley of bullets straight at Shinji.

Dresden tucked back against the wall and let loose a blast from her shotgun which loudly cracked off of one of the riot shields, unable to penetrate the thick material. She took another shot, keeping the guards from advancing any further but being unable to take them out. She shouted in to Kyth. "If you're done dickin' with the code, we've got company!"

The sirens in the distance continued closing in quickly.

:: shinji takes cover behind the wall and goes back to his wrist comm thingy and punches some more numbers and stuff:: our evac will be here in 15 we gotta get your mark and get the fuck outta here :: peaks out and fires a few more rounds at spots that look weak in the guards line::

"Fifteen sounds good to me," Dresden shouted over the panging of gunfire. One of Shinji's shots pierced through a guard's helmet, dropping him limply to the ground. "You're not half-bad," Dresden snarked as she tucked her hand into her jacket. "Hey, pigs! I smell BACON!" She screamed out, following the distinctive click of a grenade, and then sent it bouncing into the hallway. The guards had only a few seconds to try and scatter out of the hallway before a loud BOOM shook the floor. A riot guard dropped immediately, knocked out clean by the explosion. Two disoriented guards were left. Dresden paused to reload her shotgun quickly, hoping to use the explosion for cover.

Kytheria slung her SMG off her shoulder and stepped out into the doorway as Dresden reloaded, firing at the disoriented guards. Her bullets went quickly, before she knew it the distinct clicking of the firing pin striking emptiness echoed. Kythe grabbed one of her blade, dislodging it from the holster on her back and threw it directly at one of the guards' exposed areas before tucking back into the control room to reload.

The guards were overrun by the combined firepower of all three criminals. One got impaled by Kyth's blade after taking a bullet and he staggered against the wall, too weak to reload. Dresden laughed mercilessly. "Nice shot! Let's move!" The last guard was still on the ground as Dre's rushed forward to take point and find Jared. She kicked his gun away as she went and then slammed her heel down on his face, rendering him helpless. "He's yours," she snickered back to the others as she checked ahead to clear the next hallway.

:: shinji followed dresden reloading his revolvers, walking mostly calmly as he passed the guard he knelt and with the blade of his pistols he slit the mans throat:; Sleep well :: he stood back up and holstered the revolvers and conintued on after dresden::

Kytheria glared at the ruthless man as he killed the guard. You have no reason for being here she thought as she followed behind, ripping her blade out of the corpse of the dead guard.

While the three continued down the hall, the military reinforcements came within sight of the prison. Three Deyshian military jeeps plowed down the road, preceeded by the sirens of a flock of SWAT and police cruisers. A military chopper was not far behind; it jolted out in front of the ground vehicles and hovered over the prison, prepared to shoot down any runners that were visible from outside. A loud speaker from the chopper broadcasted:

"ATTENTION. THIS IS THE DEYSHIAN ARMY. WE ORDER YOU TO IMMEDIATELY CEASE AND DESIST. ALL NON-MILITARY PERSONNEL ARE TO IMMEDIATELY DROP FACE-FIRST ONTO THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS IN FRONT OF YOU. I REPEAT, DROP TO THE GROUND AND KEEP YOUR HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM. ANY AND ALL NON-COMPLIANT INDIVIDUALS WILL BE SHOT ON SIGHT."

As the reinforcement vehicles began to swarm in, they started to form a barricade on the road in front of the prison. They locked down all traffic and pedestrians in a three city-block radius, acting swiftly to neutralize everything outside of the prison as quickly as possible. As soon as the outside perimeter was clear, they began to mobilize the first SWAT team to infiltrate the prison.

Dresden, Kyth, and Shinji had only a few precious moments left to get Jared and get out before they'd be surrounded.

With all the noises and sounds going on the guard in front of Jared had turned around and begun to leave, just then Jared smirked and motioned with his head for his "apprentice" to quickly run up behind him and grab him, forcing him onto the ground.

The guard yelled out "Hel-" and only got that much out before Jared grabbed his mouth to keep it open. Jared reached into his own mouth and yanked out what was apparently a false tooth, and shoved it into the man's mouth, forcing him to crunch it.

As the man began to spasm and foam at the mouth from the pill that was a combination of cyanide, arsenic, and various other horrible poisonous chemicals Jared chuckled "Go to sleep little guard hehehe" When the card kept spasming for a few seconds longer than jared liked he pick dup the cards weapon and smashed the guard in the face over and over and over until there was blood all over the ground and jared and the guard was very much not moving. As he hit him he yelled "I. SAID. GO. TO. SLEEP…mother fucker."

He got up and tossed the weapon to his friend who was just ignoring the whole scene. He peered into the hallway looking to see them "The military is here now so they better have a goooooood fucking escape plan."

Another guard who was slamming prisoners down, some of whom were being surprisingly more compliant now that the military had come in and locked down their chance of escape, saw the commotion over by Jared. He rushed over, raised his gun, and was ready to pull the trigger and shoot Jared and his accomplice down...when a bright streak of jumpsuit-orange flashed behind him. A large black inmate charged forth from one of his cells, wielding the seat of a toilet that he had ripped off, and squarely crushed it into the side of the guards' helmet. The loud PANG resounded even over the gunshots and screaming.

"RUN, MUTHAFUCKAS, RUN!!" The black man screamed as he yanked the guard's gun away and began sprinting towards the nearest exit.

Jared jumped a bit and said "Holy shit fuck damn. Uhhh thank you!" He grabbed his accomplice by the arm and dragged him out, as he yelled "HEEEEEY GUUUYS! DRESDEN! KYTH? MAYBE KYTH?" He had no idea if she dragged that crazy Eos with her.

Dresden's ears perked up as she heard a voice from amidst the clamor. "I hear him...guess the lucky bitch is still alive," she chuckled as she rushed down the hallway to the sound. The hall from the control room led to a security door - which thankfully was also opened by Kyth's hacking efforts - that overlooked the surveillance balcony above the cell block. There was no staircase up; apparently this balcony was only for armed guards to observe the prisoners below. Ironic, because now the entire cell-block was filled with gunfire and screaming as prisoners tried to overpower guards and break free, and the guards shot down any renegade prisoner they could see that wasn't face-down on the ground begging for their life or cowering in their opened cells. She stepped out onto the balcony, proudly observing the chaos and mayhem below as she looked for Jared.

"Up here! Move your ass, we gotta go!! Come on!" Dresden drew her revolver, taking pot-shots at the nearest guard that happened to look up at her.

Jared and his accomplice moved incredibly quickly dodging through all the chaos and death and gunfire and just assorted fire. "I knew it had to be you, you are the only person on deysha who could get what looks like THE ENTIRE MILITARY INVOLVED!" He laughed as the moved "But thanks for coming i feel appreciated."
