[Economy] O.M.N.E's Trade Proposal to Cascadia

A message would be sent to cascadia with a trade proposal, it would say the following.

My name is Lizabeth Riley a board member from O.M.N.E Corporation that helps facilitate trade. We are very interested in the world of Cascadia and all the wondrous things it has to offer and would like to extend a hand in trade. If it would be at all possible we would like to set up O.M.N.E franchises on Cascadia and begin selling our products to citizens and tourists to the beaches your representative spoke so highly of during the  assembly. Of course your colony would be able to tax the sales and property and take part of the sales profit, we believe this would be a boon for both of our economic statuses.

As representative for the Cascadian Council I am please to inform you that your proposal has been accepted in part. If you could send proposals for each type of franchise you are interested in opening, we will accept or deny them individualy rather than the entire deal. This we retain our autonomy in certian area's and bring in outside flavor to other area's The tourism area I can almost assure you will be open to some franchising. As for the taxing, the property tax would be the same for any off worlder wishing to own property and the sales tax would be a flat rate of 8%. The profit sharing will need to be negotiated please make a proposal on that aswell. Thank you

To the Office of trade of the Cascadian Council,

We were hoping to set up shops in your tourist areas that would sell the following products from O.M.N.E Corporation:

OMNEnergy drink
 OMNOM brand snack foods
Nocturna-jim (energy supplement for late nights in a tourist town)
and various O.M.N.E brand clothing and vacation apparel

This is of course up to negotiation but the profit sharing we would prefer would be 30 percent to the local government (not counting your planetary sales tax) and 70 for O.M.N.E Corporation. This percentage has been favorable for other trade partners such as independent stations and colonies, as well as Deysha.

Mrs Lisabeth Riley, Please send us an ingredient list of the consumable products and some conceptual sketches of the apparel designs aswell as building designs. The 30% will be adequate for the non tourist locations which need additional negotiation I believe that food bars and Energy drinks would sell well in normal commercial locations. As for the tourist locations, 40% would be optimal due to the increase in price that you always see in vacation spots. We may consider 35% if there are extra concessions or services you can offer.

The message sent back to Cascadia would have ingredient lists attached about the energy drinks and snack foods. The snack foods were obviously mostly artificial ingredients processed to be as healthy as possible while still tasting good and the energy drink consisted mostly of caffeine, b-group vitamins, sucrose and glucose, taurine, and pure spring water from the massive underground mineral rich reservoirs of Eli.

"We hope that this list of ingredients is satisfactory to the cascadian council and we can begin to work with you and sell our product to the Cascadian people. The benefit to most of our economies would be great."

:: the Cascadian council would have a nutritionist  make some ammendments to some of the ingredients and  give specific substitution ammounts,  mostly  making artifical ingredients subbed for natrual ones.::  We hope these changes are possible, We understand that  Eli may not have the natrual botanical resources needed so we are prepared to offer use of ours, there will be a minimal cost for these ingrediants, but we've also decided that OMNE if it wishes may construct  2 production plants on the surface of Cascadia, we have enclosed a general health  diagnostic exam you should have any employee  wishing to take a position there submit to due to our unique environment. This should lessen your overhead with transportation and allow the ingredient changes.

A message would quickly go back to Cascadia agreeing to all the conditions and the price of the ingredients of course, it wouldn't hurt O.M.N.E at all, this could be a really good thing if they could crank out enough at this plants. Selling healthier versions here could perhaps allow them to sell healthier versions of their stuff everywhere, making more health conscious people buy O.M.N.E brands.

"Thank you for the offer of the plants, we will definitely accept, it would greatly improve the speed at which we would be able to create the new healthy versions of our products."

If you could send over designs for factories we can begin construction. Also we would be interested in OMNE' producing trinkets and such for the resorts. Omne's label would need to not be on any of the merchandise. Let us know if you interested in this venture aswell we can enlarge one of the production plants and grant OMNE executives a group of suites to use now and again at one of the resort towns

Designs for the standard OMNE production plant were sent, all of the safety specs would be completely above the normal crest standard and would be optimized for efficiency. There would be some design changes to accommodate the Cascadian ingredient changes.

"O.M.N.E Corporation would definitely be interested to involved in this joint venture with the resorts. We will gladly remove the O.M.N.E logo from the products shipped to the resorts."

A message would be returned with a list of goods pretty much your standard tourist resort town fare clothing trinkets souvenir cups mugs and what have you:: let us know production costs and any design changes needed at your cascadia factories and we will enlarge them to suit. We are also having one of our engineers retool the working power systems to be dully compatible with our 100% green power supply chain. As such your engineering and maintenance team must have cascadian's employeed.we feel that mixing your workforce will broaden both our and your peoples skill set. We will also aid any of your employees with relocation if need be.

A message with all the requested information went to cascadia along with any of the specs or costs they requested.

"We will be glad to employee Cascadians, O.M.N.E has always been an open company for all colonies. Would it be possible for you to send a few engineers to the O.M.NE Station as well? So we can train our employees and learn more about the clean energy you use? We would cover the costs of travel, lodging and food while they were here."

We will not send engineers to OMNE station, but we invite you to send some engineers so that we can give them a first hand look at our energy stations. A verbal class only goes so far, seeing the real thing hands on should help your engineers far more
