The Stingray weaved between the traffic of the phase lanes, sweeping passed the other ships. Its speed was unmatched by the civilian vessels, making it hard to keep track of among the slower moving vehicles. Suddenly, the Stingray jolted illegally out of the phase lanes into private space. Once in the open it was easy to identify the vessel as shown in the image given by the Novalysian government. All serials however were missing from the scarred hall, replaced with a chrome symbol resembling an N and an X. The ship did not hesitate, taking the indirect route through and asteroid field headed straight for Khrysis System. The ship glided passed the floating debris with easy, showing the skill of the pilot within it and making it extremely difficult to follow.
Colten sat in the pilots seat, his face shrouded in a mixture of determination and anger. He glanced down at the radar, signaling each of the asteroids and faintly giving notice to the cloaked ship behind. Despite being one of the Novalysian's best fighters for its time, the Stingray was highly outdated and could hardly pick up the cascadiun stealth cruiser. Not that Colten cared, even if he realized he was being followed that would not stop him. Brow furrowed and eyes burning with hate, more resembling his father now than ever before, he stared unrelentingly into the distance toward his home system. The system he had abandoned so many years before, the system he despised. He gave little notice to the woman beside him, masked with a sword at her side.
